| Is the Trek a good suppressor and what's a good price for one? Thanks guys! |

I wish you would have posted this a couple days ago.
There was a seller on Gunbroker that had them for $325. They took about 7 days to sell out. Looks like they get them in fairly regularly. http://www.gunbroker.com/All/Completed%2FBCI.aspx?Keywords=trek&Timeframe=1&Sort=1&IncludeSellers=778456 |

Things to consider..
Do you want to use it on multiple rifles or uppers? if so a Direct Thread is not the best option, you would want to get a Quick Detach suppressor. How important is weight? the Trek is a fairly heavy suppressor as are almost all steel suppressors. How important is price? at around $400 its a good price point but higher price points like $1,000 and $1,500 will get you into a different range of suppressors. I recommend the Trek-T, which is the titanium version, they sell for around $800-900 but at 10.3oz plus you can subtract 2.3oz from the flash hider as you dont use one with a Direct Thread so youre looking at only 8oz of additional weight, combine that with a 10.3" SBR and you have a very light weigh and compact rifle! |

Yup, I would absolutely recommend spending the extra money for the TREK-T.
That being said, Sig has a new suppressor its a thread on titanium that weighs less than 10oz and "quieter" than the TREK. I would wait for this if you can. should be around $600. Or get their QD ti. http://sigsauer.net/CatalogProductList/sig-sauer-silencers-rifle-silencers.aspx |

Sounds like it was a really good deal, unfortunately someone posted it in the deal thread and they sold out before I could get back to buy one. |
