| Anyone running Gemtech Trinity Talon upper? I'm considering a purchase since I was hoping to run my G19 and AR off the same suppressor. Does anyone have one and what are the pros/cons? I've had outsanding customer service from Gemtech in the past so I was planning on staying with them, but are there any other similar setups (can from pistol to AR easily) that I should consider? |

I have a Trinity on my 9mm AR but do not have the talon upper so I can't comment on that. I run my Trinity on my BW-5, AR 9mm, Beretta 92 and Glock 19. The 9mm AR and HK clone are both 3 lugged and use the 3-lug adapter. The beretta uses the 1/2x28 threaded adapter and the glock uses the LID(1/2x28). On my 9mm AR I use the 9" TROS 3 lug barrel and it runs awesome with the can. Overall I am very happy with the Trinity. It suits me just fine and due to my budget it was a good choice for me. If I do buy another can in the future it will be a Gemtech. |
I have a LID mount for a Trinity, but can't figure out how to dismount the thread adapter. Any hints on how you swap them out? I was told to locktite the threads and then I could spin off the suppressor and mount the LID... that sucks if I want to go back and forth between the pistol and AR.

| I love my Trinity and its versitility. On my M9 with subsonic, I can shoot it all day without hearing protection. I plan on getting a Talon upper for an upcoming SBR. Now, in all fairness, the Trident is suppose to be a good can as well, so you will not go wrong with either. |
I am not sure i understand your question. You grab the lid in your hand on the knurreled area hold the can in your other hand and unscrew it. Then you thread the 3lug adpt into the can. As for the OP, i have a trinity and i like it alot. People say the swr trident9 and aac evo 9 are more quite than the trinity but i do not have one of those to compare it to. It is very easy to switch between my g19 with the $89 lone wolf threaded barrel and my bw5 3 lug. |
