So I have a Gemtech Trinity that I bought back in 2008 (iirc).  I wish I had gotten an SWR Trident, but I'd rather not buy another 9mm suppressor and I don't plan on selling mine because the return on investment for resale is horrendous.  So I'm stuck with the Trinity.  The catch is Gemtech doesn't support the Trinity any longer so endcaps are difficult to find and I only have a LID.

I recall going to a suppressor shoot a year or two ago and someone with either a Gemtech Tundra or Multimount saying Gemtech could upgrade the Trinity with to one of those configurations.  Does anyone else have input on this?  Obviously it's going to cost, but not as much as a brand new can.  I'm just wondering if this was something anyone else was aware of.

There was just a thread about this a few days ago.  The Trinity can be upgraded to Tundra specs, the MM uses a different tube size.

So I got in touch with Gemtech concerning this and this is what I found out:

There is a yes and no answer to his question.

The YES part: We can modify the Trinity by PERMANENTLY installing the
current LID (LID-08) that is used in the Trinity. This modification
can never be undone and the Trinity will lose its ability to have
interchangeable mounts. This is probably what was done to the
friend's Trinity. Cost is $150 parts/labor plus $20 return shipping.
Turnaround is up to 30 days. While the charge is for the parts and
shipping, there is significant labor involved. Payment preference is
a certified check or postal money order. Credit cards will have a 3%
administrative fee added.

The NO part: We cannot upgrade the baffle stack to the Tundra stack
due to dimensional differences. The Trinity tube is too short to
accommodate the Tundra stack.

To me it doesn't sound worth the trade-off and doesn't sound like it would offer any real improvement to the can's performance.

I have a Trinity and just got a Multimount a few months ago.
All the Multimount adapters work on the Trinity but the LID which you already have.
I have a 3 lug mount,Uzi mount 1/2X28 and 1/2X36 endcaps and they all work on both cans.
