Does anyone have any experance with one? How do they compare to other cans, and how durable are they?

The M402 is a good can. It is simple, inexpensive and durable. When we got our SOT the first can Steve bought for his personal use was an M402. He never expressed any regret, and was unable to destroy it. FWIW.

M402 here also...my first and only 5.56 can, all my others are 9mm and 22 cal. If I could do it again, I would get a qd mount or a halo...it makes it much easier to change to different guns.

On the other side, the m402 is very well priced and does not add a ton of weight or length on the end of the gun...

I guess it depends on how often you want to move it around. Like I said...I will be buying a halo or qd can in the not too distant future...
