Hey guys,
Looking to get some NV would prefer goggle style and not monocular due to eye strain, my problem is that I can not afford Gen II stuff, and was looking to get some Gen I stuff around $5-600 range.  I know what your going to say invest in the Gen II but I am married with two kids and need to save and invest in other stuff.  So I would rather have something rather than nothing at all.  I don't know if I will ever use them beyond 200 yrds due to the terrain of where I live, lot of farm land but also developments as well.  Looking to use more for around my home and 2.1/4 acre yard.  Are the Gen I goggle style good enough for that?

Will gen1 goggles see 200yds. In my experience no. Maybe like 50yds with a good iluminator.

There are few gen1 cascade systems in your price bracket.

Damn thats alot easier than typing responses.
