Does anyone have any experience with this knife? I like the looks of it but need some feedback on it before I drop the money on one.

Thanks

go to lapolicegear.com and they run $60 or so. They are nice knives but the high class whores here will usually opt for a bigger  better model.  For the money I think they are well made, have nice features, and the molle attachment sheath is cool

Looks like a nice knife, if I can find a good deal at the gun show tomorrow I'm going to get one.

I got one from LAPG, it's a damn good knife for the money IMO.  It's a little big to pack around with you all the time, but a good general purpose knife to throw in a BOB IMO.

I just placed an order for an LMF II ASEK tonight from LAPG. They have the best price I've found anywhere. It seems like a good solid utility knife.

I picked one up earlier this year and it seems to be well constructed and durable, but I haven't had the chance to use it yet.

The LMF I ordered from LAPG arrived today. It feels really well built and comfortable. It's definitely a utility knife. The sheath "system" as it were is pretty bulky but it's versatile too. I'll figure out my mounting option when the rest of my gear arrives.

For $60, it's a good deal IMHO.

I bought one at the BX for an upcoming deployment to Afganistan. I absolutly love this knife!

I only have two complaints, not with the knife itself, but with the sheath. The upper retention strap gets in the way, and the MOLLE straps on the back needs to be 1/2" longer (or just take a MALICE clip), and needed to be secured with some zip ties to keep it on.

Some of the snobs poo-poo'd it initially, but I picked one up from LAPG for around $60.  If you order the ASEK version it comes with a survival-type webbing and para cord cutter.

Well worth the money IMHO.

BTW, those videos are very interesting..

I'd like to get one, but I really don't like the serration.
I would have bought one about 18 months ago, but the asshat behind the counter at Dick's (after it took about 10 minutes of waiting to actually get somebody to the counter) started making comments about what did I need a knife like that for, what are you going to do with that, you don't really need an "assault knife" like that, etc.  So I agreed with him that I definitely didn't need that knife from him and walked out.
Their price was lower than everybody else's at the time, and I just never ordered one from somewhere else.

Mine says:

                    USA

This could only be the HQ of course.

I got one for my birthday last month and like it instead of getting the ASEK with the paracord cutter I purchased a benchmade rescue hook and attatched it to the sheath
