Tried a search......  Thinking about a G20 10mm. I have heard that some Glocks have partially unsuported chambers which make it unable to reload. Is the G20 safe to reload or is this a unsupported chamber as well? Thanks for input.

It's very safe, I have been doing it for years. I use jacketed bullets and load mild to nearly wild. Use published data and work your loads up and you will be fine.

You can also get aftermarket barrels that better support the brass, and can use lead if you so choose.

The pistol is the easy part...it's chasing down all that 10mm brass off the floor/ground that's a PITA.

I reload for all of my Glocks but I did get an aftermarket barrel but mainly to shoot lead. Get the dies adjusted right and roll with it.

You'll absolutely love your G20!  The G20 was Gaston's first large frame Glock; that's right, the G21 is a derivative of the G20 as it came out after the G20.  It shares the G21's low recoil characteristics because of both the wide backstrap and polymer frame that flexes.  As you reload, you'll find that, except for the brass, the 10mm costs virtually the same to reload as the 40sw as it uses the same commonly sold bullets.

Thanks, I do have four .40S&W and reload, so 10mm would be the next logical step. I am looking for a woods gun. Hiking, camping and mountain biking in bear country. I want more than six shots, that's why I am thinking G20. It will also be handy if I meet a bad guy in the woods.  Also, it is a lot cheaper than a big Smith wheel gun.

And more importantly for hiking, much, much lighter.
