Would you go for a Gransfors Bruks or the less expensive Wetterling? Any reviews and or opinions of either are welcome.

of the 2...the Gransfors. but i gotta be honest. my favorite hatchet is my fiskars. its really remarkable. cheap, indestrictable and made of great steel.

I have both.  If you can afford the Gransfors and don't care about marking it up, you should still buy three of the Wetterlings for the same price.
Gransfors are awesome, but so are the Wetterlings.  Spend a day with some stones and sandpaper and the Wetterlings will be the equal of the Gransfors.
