[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Got a SCAR

Picked up a SCAR 16 s/n 102xx in FDE. Colors are off from others I have seen can anyone tell me why. Is it maybe an early production thing.

I sold my AR and bought it about 8 months ago and have really fallen in love with it. Had to ditch all my PMAGs though cause they would not drop free from the magwell. BCM had plenty of replacements with magpul
followers so it's gtg!!

The tri-color FDE scar is a common occurrence (boot vs lower vs upper), I wouldn't worry about it.

Mine is tri color and i prefer the color scheme really.

Old PMags don't drop by the new revision M Pmags do. Also the E-mags drop free as well. I had the same problem with old PMAGS that wouldn't drop free in my LMTs and LWRC rifles. But the new Rev M PMags work great.

Mine is a tricolor SCAR too, SN # LC14XXX

It's one of the most attractive features of my rifle in my opinion.
