The customer bought a 7.5" AR Upper from us.

he says it's loose.

I get the upper back and the free float nut is loose , I remove the A2 FH

I also find the low pro gas block is loose, hmmmm?

I get the quad rail off and after I remove the gas tube and block I can turn the nut by hand.

There is no way this left here like this, I pull the build sheet and there are my initials on the sheet as the builder.

I know I didn't do this and it would not have test fired with the gas block like that.

The thing is the guy is a repeat customer and I fixed it and reboxed it and it's going out tomorrow no charge.

We have a policy that if it's our fault we fixed it and pay both ways for shipping, we fixed it for free and even installed a new gas block and are paying the return shipping.

How much you wanna bet he calls me and asks about his shipping to us?

Why do people do this?

They don't know what they are doing and then lie about it too?

If it comes back with loose parts again, loctite is an option... ;)

In before the customer sees this!

J/K.

Is he a good enough customer that you're willing to overlook his fiddling with it and the shipping?

Put a little dab of model glue on each of the threaded metal joints after everything is tightened. That will show if anything had been messed with or not.
