Damn good deal.... |
|
mailman dropped it off today
Pre-review first impression: HOLY CRAP, this thing is beautiful! Having owned a few of the knockoff "clones" i can say with absolute certainty that they do not deserve the term clone. This knife came sharper than any out of the box knife i've ever owned, has a higher level of fit and finish than any non-custom I own, and locks up MUCH tighter than the "clones". It also fires much harder My biggest worry was that it would be too small. It's not. I am a big fan of large knives for carry. Most of my daily carry knives are 3.5"+ so i was considering the combat troodon for the longer blade, but i'm glad i didn't. The ultratech tanto blade is the perfect length. It's long enough to be lethal if you find yourself in a nasty situation, but not so long that it isn't comfortable in my pocket.... i love it!!! Some of this will be reproduced in my actual review, but there will be more info, comparisons, and pictures. Tune in for the sequel |

I've seen them on sale before at a knife shop I like to look at, they can go down to 150 depending on the model and I always talk myself out of buying one. Then every time I regret it... I am going to get one next time they are on sale. The price on this one was so low that i was concerned it would be fake... i was SUPER relieved to find out that it wasn't fake |
