[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Griffin Recce 5 Mod 3

My F3 cleared and my Recce 5 Mod 3 (to my surprise, I thought I was buying a mod 2 haha) came to my FFL today. So sick. Anyone considering Griffin I would highly recommend them. I've shot 2 of their cans and holding this one, I couldn't be more pleased.

6.2 OAL
14.something OZ only and quiet as can be

Checkout the minimalist brake that comes with the can (and at that price too!) on my Mk18 CQBR

Looks good! Bought my Recce 5 Mod 3 on 7-1-15. Waiting for the F3 to clear.

I've been running their single port brake for a month or so on my 300BLK. I really like it.

Now if my Recce 7 would clear, I'd be thrilled even more.

Is that a 10.3 or 10.5 barrel? How's the clearance on that can to the DD ris rail?

Great question I should have listed that. The barrel is a 10.5 Noveske. Only used 2 shims to time the brake. If you used a few more I think it should clear the DD rail on 10.3.
