I wanna put a gun rack in my new truck. I want one that hangs on the roof of the interior without drilling a bunch of holes. Any links or sugestions?

"A gun rack?  A gun rack?!?  WHY would I need a gun rack?  I don't own A gun, much less MANY guns which would necessitate an entire rack!!!"

Wayne (Mike Meyers) in the movie "Wayne's World."

I got mine from JC Whitney ( so I'm cheap). It cost me about $50.00. You have to remove the sun visors, bolt up the shelf, reinstall the visors, no holes drilled. Love it, it carries a ar-15 very well, or one of my bolt guns.... fullclip

You have to drill four holes (or use self tapping screws), but Big Sky Racks make a pretty neat two gun overhead rack.

Question:  Why don't people like to drill holes in there vehicles?

Must be the new car virginity factor.  After she's had a few parking lot dings she's lost her cherry, so to speak.  Me, being a cheapskate who drives old beaters wouldn't think twice about breaking out the power tools.  Heck, I even actually shot my truck for grins & to see what would happen.

:sigh:  I remember as a kid seeing gun racks everywhere.  Now you never see them, at least here in CA.  Sorry, just waxing nostalgic.

Apparently I believe in de-virginating them quickly.  I bought a new Dodge pickup awhile back and in the very first day side swiped a gate going out of a pasture--its been all downhill from there...
