I was installing a TAPCO collapsable stock on my Saiga 12.  I overtightened the grip and the bolt broke.  Now I have to figure out how to unscrew the bolt, minus the head, out of the stock so that I can put put a new screw in.    I'll have to admit, I've had happier thoughts.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the easiest way to do this?  Is it possible without having a vise to hold the shotgun?

Thanks for any ideas.

Can you reach it with a drill?  If yes, drill it, easy out it.  Sold at any home store/hardware store.

You can try and easy-out, or a left-hand dril bit. They will sometimes grab it enough to twist it out.

If you have the length, the easy out thing is usually the best option though.

If the head snapped off the bolt, shouldn't the grip/stock slide off the shank of the remaining bolt? There may be enough shank left to grab with vice grips.
