Wow, is that small grains. It looks like liquid silver in the jug.
Holy cow, sticks to everything. My powder thrower, my scale, the case mouth, the bullet itself. Is there anyway to reduce the cling? I used a dryer sheet on everything after I noticed the issue. Did not help. On the bright side, it metered very very consistently through my powder measure. 26g on the nose almost every time. |

H110 is my goto powder for supersonic 300 blackout. It gives the best velocity at meters extremely well.
But man is it a pita to mess with. Apparently my 16month old daughter was in the basement and cracked my cheap Lee powder measure. The Crack was so fine I've still been using it with no problem. I put some H110 in there and the powder started pouring out of the bottom of the rotor! I blamed my wife so she let me buy a new PM. I went from a Lee PM to a Redding competition 3BR measure! So glad my daughter broke it now! Haha With regards to your question, I would transfer a pound of powder back and forth between your PM and the powder bottle until you've added enough carbon from the powder to coat the inside of the PM. Once that gets coated with carbon you shouldn't have much of a problem anymore. |

New, not used, dryer sheets normally will kill the static on a powder measure hopper and other tools. The next thing to try is powdered graphite. http://www.amazon.com/Generals-Powdered-Graphite-6-oz/dp/B00TCLCO7A I apply it with an acid brush to the inside of the hopper and to the internal parts. Then operate the PM and catch the graphite that comes out the bottom with you scale pan. Wipe off graphite from scale pan with a dryer sheet. ![]() Sometimes the powder can will need some help also. eta, Notice in background that PM has 2 dryer sheets in it during storage. |

Recently been using H110 in my Dillon 550. When I load 357 Magnum it sprinkles powder all over the press and gums up the primer bar. I have to be slow and diligent about keeping things clean and running.
Then I can take the same powder on the same day and load 300 Blackout with it on the same press (granted with a rifle style powder funnel) and have nearly zero powder splashing all over the place. |
