My original Lee hand primer has seen better days and I'm looking to replace it.  For those of you who are still reloading old school,  Which one do you prefer and why?
I prefer to hand prime as I get a better feel of what's going on, and I can watch TV at the same time.

Thanks,
Mark

Lee Auto-Prime here as well. For me it has the best "feel".

I'm using the Hornady hand-primer.  Comes with 2 trays...one fits hornady shellholders and the other fits RCBS shellholders.
So far so good with it.

I have heard the new Lee Auto-Prime works pretty nicely.

Still using my Lee Auto primer. I have an older RCBS hand primer but it was very old and didn't have a tray. I'm sticking with Lee.

Same.  I have the older style RCBS that uses the same shell holders as the press.  The newer style has a universal shell holder system.  That would be nice since I always bought two shell holders, one for the press and one for the primer.  However now I use a press mounted primer system (Redding T-7) so it's all a moot point.  Maybe still use it for precision priming where i want more "feel".

Still have 2 of the old Lee hand primers with extra handles. Should last me a lifetime.

Funny, every week we would have Lee hand primer bashing threads.

Bet I could get $50.00 a piece now for my two old ones.

New Lee is pretty good but its not a thoughtless operation like old ones.

Have Hornady and like except for "the other end."

Nothing beats Hornady Auto Prime mounted on Hornady single stage.

I use the RCBS Universal ( a couple years now), it works flawlessly.
