| Hey guys I'm looking to get a handl defense SCAR 25 lower and I don't see very many reviews on it and I have been hearing some troubling things about it as far as reliability and other problems. now on the handl defense site they say to get installed by them or an FN liscenced gunsmith and some of the people who had problems could have installed it themselves therefore causeing the problems. So has anyone on here had first hand experience with these lowers and/or anyone who has had these issues? |

The current mag availability situation has improved to the point that unless you already have a stockpile of SR25/308 PMAGs why switch? One which has no issues, one which has minor issues which eventually get fixed, and the last which has major QC - fit - finish - operation issues, such as bolt not locking back when should, or locking back early, not operating with PMAGs, failure to feed, etc. Hopefully, most of the issues experienced were in 5 -10% of the first 200 units and hopefully those units have now been returned/refunded/replaced. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do. Just remeber if its not broke dont fix it. |
