So I did my paperwork today for SBR and suppressor and have decided to just change out the barrel and go with a 10.5" Noveske barrel with the switchblock... my next question is what rail could I use... I would like to use a 10" rail so the can will mate up with the rail for a seamless look so to speak... any ideas on how to make that happen?

If you have access to the proper tools to take the barrel off Id go with just buying a 10.5" barrel assembly. Its really not hard to do.

Thanks for the feedback!  Will I need to alter anything else other than the rail?

Going from a 16" to a 10.5" barrel you might have trouble locking the bolt back on the last shot. A heaver buffer usually helps.
Or in my case with my SBR, I had to add a D ring on the extractor spring just to get it to extract the empty casings both suppressed & unsuppressed.

10.5" AR's can be picky at times. But once you get them to run, they are sooooo much more fun than a 16" rifle

Chicks dig the SBR's.

I agree extraction issues and bolt lock are the big problems.  I always keep an extra Carbine, H, H2, and an H3 buffer in the range bag as a first step of diagnostics if problems arise.  The extractor rings can be bought for next to nothing from McMaster-Carr (part number 1201T16).  $5 for 50, shipping probably another $5

Since your upper is a lefty, you may want to check with Stag and make sure the barrel/barrel extension isn't different than a standard setup.

Also, you will have to get a tax stamp from the ATF before putting a shorter than 16" barrel on your rifle (in case you weren't aware).

As far as the rail and can mating together, the best way to determine what you want is to look in the SBR pic threads (above) and choose what you like.

That's a good idea on the barrel/barrel extension from Stag... do you guys think it would be better to just build a new upper for the 10.5" configuration I am wanting to get to?  Thanks!
