The bottom picture is a micrometer for the Redding powder measure shown in the first photo, the one shown is a rifle micrometer, possibly the powder measure has the pistol micrometer currently installed in it. The photo with all the small parts shows a Lee hand primer, among the small parts shown are pilots for the case trimmer and I see a couple of powder bushings for a shot shell reloader in the photo also. |
![]() The two things at the top and MEC shotshell loader charge bar powder bushings e.g. www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=518928&t=11082005, the threaded things at the 3 o'clock position are trimmer pilots for various calibers |

Although nearly everything in the pic is top shelf equipment, the condition and completeness knocks the heck out of the value. Carefully inspect the dies for completeness and also any rust internally. The smallest amount of surface rust on the internal polished surfaces render the die sets to the $5.00 range in a hurry. The 223 set isn't a set, just a seater? A seater can have a little rust and still be salvadgeable. The hand primes need to be assembled and paired up with their specific shell holders and various small parts. The Forster trimmer may or may not be complete. There is one collet pictured and a few pilots. Does it also have a collet installed (T bar end). Does the scale have its pan and pan holder. Forget about offering the primers via mail or even UPS due to the HazMat category. The powder measure is missing it's lid as a minimum. How is it's mechanical condition otherwise. I think you are looking at more of $50 to $75 as is, $200 tops if everything is in top shape, but finding a guy who needs/wants it all will be the problem. |

I would say most of the items are servicable. Clean what you can and possibly take apart and tumble some of the dies to spiff them up. Use the fun show, find values on the items (plus have a good time looking around). Then either ask someone to buy outright /sell for you the items at the show. I paid app. $15 ea for a set of RCBS .38 and .44 dies (retail was 2x as much) to set up the 650XL for a cal swap. Don't get low balled. skink |
