Hey guys,

A guy at work found this press at a yard sale. We need some help identifying it.

It looks similar to on old Lyman All-American, but it isn't one like I have seen.

Its a 7 station turret, with no name on it at all. There is a circle on the front that looks like it had a sticker there at one time.

Anyone seen one before, or know what it is?

Thanks in advance!

Does it use standard dies and shellholder?

Nice find.

That's it!
Thanks!

It uses standard dies, he has not checked out the shell holders yet, but the manual front page says "Shell Holders interchangeable with other popular makes of tools."

But back when it was made who knows what "popular makes" were.

He will check it out and let me know.

He got it for $5. Still not sure why it is red, all the ones I see online are black/grey. It may have been repainted, but it looks to be original.

damn, I would go to $10! That is a terrific find! A little elbow grease and I'm sure it will perform like a champ

I'm trying to figure out why one would need a 7 station press.

Deprime/resize
Decrimp
Trim to length
Prime
Powder
Seat
Crimp

Only problem I see is that you can't simply keep the case in a modern/standard shell plate and do the above 7 steps without swapping something out.

The seven stations were set up to hold 3 sets of rifle dies and a powder measure or 2 sets of handgun dies and a powder measure.

7 station turret concept is alive and thriving. See either RCBS or Redding T7. The idea for either RCBS or T7 is load turret head with dies and never adjust again. Fill one turret head, then buy another to load with dies. Some guys won't load on anything but a T7.

I can promise you won't load T7 kind of ammo on an RCBS, Lee or current production Dillon progressive.

Pictured press is a tank. I'd bet it would swage lead without issue too.

Interesting concept. Thanks for the info.
