What kind of supressor is this? or what does it look like?

Thanks for any help.

I would say judging from the middle picture, that it is a fake suppressor. YMMV I've been wrong before though.

The only thing that comes to mind is Ops Inc.  12th?

Edit:  Or maybe quicksilver with .223 aperture instead of .30?

Image credit - unknown author google search

IMDB rarely lists the manufacturer of suppressors/accessories - too bad

I'm thinking Ops 16th model, maybe...

I dont know, the diameter compared to length (obviously scale is hard to judge) seems like the 16th is shorter than the one shown in the first picture.  Length is hard to discern on the 2nd/3rd.

I take it back, after doing some messing with the pictures in paint and lightroom - the dimensions of OD to OAL seem to match up - 16th is a good bet.

Look at the second picture, it looks like the barrel comes flush with the end. Ops Inc cans are flat on the end, not sloped.

Anyone know the source of the pics?

Like one other said, it is probably just a prop...no real silencer or brand.  Judging from the second pic it doesn't look like any of my Ops cans.

Either way it's pretty big for a 5.56 can, eh?  In the OP's pictures it seems to be a 556 rifle (not a .308 reciever).  That can looks about the size of my Phantom 762.

It looks like an old 80's unit as I'm sure was intended since Mogadishu was 1991.

Black Hawk Down was shot in Morocco, so it's highly likely to be of foreign manufacture if it's even a real suppressor. Likely just a prop designed to look correct.

I would bet the first two are fakes. I know where the first two pics are from. I want to know about the third picture. Anybody know if this is a real picture??

The third picture is just a picture during film production.

Battle of Mogadishu was October of 1993. Just wanted to put that out.
