I bought an unfired M82A1 from a guy yesterday and he included eighty rounds of Barrett .50 BMG and 100 rounds of unidentified stuff that's on links. Here is a picture. They have the letters ā€œSā€ and ā€œLā€ and the number ā€œ52ā€ stamped on them. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I thought 52 was 1952 and that concerned me a bit. Glad to hear it's good brass though.

What you might find amazing is that the brass being 60+ years old is still better then the current issue brass that's being used now. If you don't intend on reloading pm me and I'll buy it from you in a heartbeat.

just a bit of info about that St. Louis small arms ammo plant. It was just a mile or two from my grandparents house in Jennings. I could go up to the foot bridge going over I-70 back then and see it looking east (1960s). I believe it was Goodfellow and I-70 right along the hi-way. Back about 10 or 15 yrs ago they tore it down. So, there will never be an more ammo with "S L" coming out of that plant. Keep one shell as keep sake.
