Last one I came across for sale at the LGS was a little more beat than yours for $699, it sold in less than a week. I was hoping it would be worth closer to a grand. The prices on gunbroker are all over the place. List it for $1K and see what traffic you generate. If not, lower the price. What one wants and one receives are 2 different things. It being a Winchester you might get it or real close, looks like a clean rifle.. |

Can you check completed auctions, to see what they've actually sold for? |
| What someone will pay varies, avg, at shows and shops I see is $600-$800. However not all those sell for that, IMO $800 is a lot. I haven't seen any sell for that only list for that, last gun show I was at a nice clean one like yours was $700. cash tax included and it didn't sell. I have a 44mag model in great condition and have been offered $700-$800 for it, but it wasn't for sale. |

Does it have USRAC markings on the buttplate? I think the checkering started shortly after they took over.
I would keep it, you will never see such a high quality lever action (possibly any rimfire action) ever made like that in this country. Only the FN subsidiary in Japan can make stuff like this anymore, but who wants a Japanese made lever action... |
