For now the next project is on hold, In the mean time however I would like to rotate my fore end on my Ultralite upper it looks like this

Am I correct in assuming that it is similar to a normal FF tube in that it is screwed on to a threaded nut and the held square with that thing that looks like a lock ring on the back?

I want to rotate it 90* so the rails are on the sides.

Anyone know what type of spanner wrench I need to loosen the supposed lock ring?

Appreciate the help.

Should be pretty easy to unscrew the nut.  You may need to just tap it with a screwdriver and rubber mallet to get it loose.  I know this model is long out of production but have you tried calling Zel Custom yet?

Try IM'íng Teleblaster in the Black Arrow thread, I think he's the owner of Zel Custom.
