I'm looking for specific recommendations. I've read a lot, and looked at a lot of sites –– making me more confused now than before I started.
I am looking for a basic body armor protection to cover main torso areas over organs. Call me paranoid, but, I'd like to wear it, discretely, to the shooting range. I am fine with spending $500 or $1000, and could go higher if I must in order to get an acceptable protection level. However, what I'm looking for is basic pistol protection meeting the following: - caliber up to 45 ACP - basic vest coverage - able to be discretely worn underneath other clothing - I am willing to pay extra to make it as discrete as possible I am only looking for new items, so please no offers for sales –– I would very much appreciate links for where I (a regular civilian) can purchase any recommended items as well.
