If nothing goes wrong we should be having our first child in 6 months or so and I would like to buy it and me a new silencer or two depending on cost. I already have a mask 22 and a tbac ultra 9. One will be a 22 the other either a 45, 30 cal or salvo12
For the 22 I really like my mask but want something different this time. I caint make up my mind on which of the other 3 I want yet, I hate I missed the capital armory buy 2 get a Tirant. The pistol would be shot on 9mm and .45 and 300bo and possibly a few lever action 32 and 38 and such Have thought about the osprey just because it doesn't sit as high over the bore. 30 cal, prefer direct thread, on 308 and 6.5 Grendel and 223. Would prefer full auto rated. Salvo is just different and neat but don't know how practical it would be duck hunting. Thanks for any suggestions! |
| If I could only have two suppressors it would be a 45acp can and a 7.62mm can. Reason being you can shoot all your pistol calibers 9/40/45 using a 45 can. And you can shoot all your rifle calibers using the 7.62mm can, like 5.56/300BLK/7.62mm. I personally use the Osprey 45 and love it. And I use the AAC 762-snd-6 and it's a very tough can for full auto with short barrels. |

I'm in a similar situation. My son is due Nov 1st (first child) and I wanted to buy a suppressor before he's born. I don't own any cans.
Ended up buying a SiCo Omega for my 30 cal and 223 needs. Got it on sale for $779. Ended up getting a Thunderbeast 22 takedown too since it was $179. Really glad I decided to finally pull the trigger. |

Thanks for the help so far, I do already have the tbac ultra 9 .30 cal that mainly stays on my 300 wsm. For this reason I'm hesitant to get another .30 cal can. But on the other hand I typically carry two rifles when deer hunting. My 300 wsm because of the range and accuracy and also my 6.5 Grendel because it's great for multiple quick shots on hogs and most hunts I get to shoot at least one hog. I could always just leave my ultra 9 on the Grendel and would be covered 99% of the time.
Sorry for the long story just trying to give more info. The two 22 cans at the top of my list right now are the tbac take down and the aac halcyon. |
