| Guys my birthday is this week and the SO is griping at me about not knowing what to buy me. I guess I am hard to shop for? Anyway, I was thinking a good bag might be of some use. For a while I've been looking to put together a BOB. I have seen various threads talking about what all a bag should have in it, what I have a hard time finding is what bags people are using. If possible I would really like to keep the price @ or below $200. I prefer that the bag be American made. Most of the time this will be riding behind the seat of my truck, with the occasional use for hiking/camping as I really like to hit the trails if an opportunity arises. I'm moving to a location where I will have a lot of opportunity for outdoor recreational activities on the weekends so I will probably end up buying two packs, but for now I just want something good to get me started. Any help is appreciated! |
You should cross post this in the here to get some more info on BOB's. 
There are many bags to consider but that depends on what you want. I use a 5.11 bag because I like the organization but it is not made in the USA. |
