Good evening, i took my rear sight off my Socom 16 a few years ago in order to install a  Troy MCS, then when i took the MCS out from the rifle i couldn't find this screw

So i would like to know the thread pattern on it in order to get a replacement for it, or if somebody can hook me up with it, i will really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
P.S. here's my humble Socom 16

I assume it a modern SA product?
Call them, they will know the part.

Or do a search on Numrich.
They have EVERYTHING.

Another possibility is Fulton Armory.

That's not a screw, it's the elevation pinion.  It is geared inside, you need the part, as a screw won't do you any good.

I do have the elevation pinion as you can see in the bottom picture, but i miss the actual slot screw on it

It's a shortened/modified Surefire MB762SSAL/RE Muzzle Brake.

Thanks

Ooops, sorry, "brake".   Does it help?  Or is it for a can?

it does help a lot with the felt recoil, but it's annoying to anyone who's not shooting it

A picture of the actual elevation knob would be nice to determine if only the screw is missing or the whole thing including the retainer ring.  I have seen SA use an internal snap ring to retain the pinion assembly on some rifles.
