Setting it up last night, have a problem with the Auto Disk Powder Measure:

Case goes up into the expanding die

Disk slides over the hole and if there was powder in it, it would charge.  Primer gets seated.

Lower the handle, and the disk slides back 1/4" then stops.  The chain is under tension but the lever will not go back down, everything is stuck solid.

If I move handle back up a little and release tension on the chain, I can wiggle the lever and it will finally let go and proceed back down.  I have tried this will the Auto Disk not in place, just watching the little tab moving, but it still sticks.

Is there an adjustment I'm missing?  Anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks for any help.

I have several LEE M1000 machines (pre Pro 1000) in pistol calibers.........they don't use the "chain."

Anyway (assuming that the arrangement is close)......

The "return spring" is suppose to return the disk to it's rightful position. So, check for "rubbing" and fix it.  I don't dry lube......but, have used "light sanding" to get a "better fit."

Also, for your review..........
