I have a $50 gift card for Dicks Sporting Goods. Id like to get a cheap scope for my 10/22. Any ideas? It's stock and I just use it for plinking. My wife and I may attend an Appleseed event some day and she'll use this. So any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

make sure to get a rimfire one. The parallax is usually set at 60 yards not 150 like most other scopes.

In looking around at scopes lately, the parallax on rimfires is usually set to 50 yards and rifle scopes set to 100 yards.  Of course if you get a scope with an adjustible objective or side focus then that isn't an issue.  Personally, I'd rather have a rifle scope with an AO so I can be able to focus on whatever I want to shoot at, not just one set distance.

An efr will get you rimfire range focus. Not all scopes dial down below 50.
