Hey all -- new to the firearms hobby, have a rifle and a pistol and looking for some advice on a good home safe. I'd like something with an electric key pad kind of code, and something that might fit a couple rifles and a couple pistols -- nothing too much. I've looked at some of the big sites, but haven't found anything jumping out at me yet -- any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking I'd like to put it next to a desk/ under a desk, or in a closet... THANK YOU!!!

Definitely check out the link above. I like Fort Knox, but they're are some great safes out there. Depending on how much you want to spend and how many rifles you want it to hold will determine what safe is right for you. If I could make one recommendation, get a safe that is made in America. The cheap Chinese and Mexican safes are just that--cheap. The steel is much thinner and weaker than safes that are made here like Fort Knox, Liberty, some Rhino Safes, and others. |
