I am trying to put together a vest/carrier whatever it is  I am not really sure what I want so that is where I need help. I live near Ft. Benning and went to a couple surplus/supply stores and wound up getting a carrier, it looks like a Eagle RRV with just the straps in the back no back peice. I also got a ATS Tactical Gear Triple Mag Shingle pouch & 3 single pistol mag pouches. I like both types of pouches but I am not really digging the RRV copy as-is. One ? I have is along the bottom row of it there are snaps on the inside what are they for? attaching a belt maby? The biggest thing I dislike about it is putting it on. I know I won't be using it all the time (rarely really) so it being a little difficult to get the buckle snapped around behind me isn't that big a deal but looking at some vests that zip up the front look much easier. Other thing is for now I have all my mags on one side so it tries to pull down on that side but that will solve it's self when I get more on the other side i assume. So I am looking for any input/help I can get from the great minds here  What are things I need to know that can help me decide what to get other than me trying out each type.
