All I use my PC for are rifle classes and I want to set it up to run 308 gear for a class. Can someone push me in the right direction to use my JPC with 308 mags? What do I need to add or am I better off just buying a chest rig?
I prefer to run plates when I take rifle classes. I just want to learn from the gear geeks in this forum, because I know you've tried everything .

Any MOLLE mag pouch will work.

I know of a few guys wearing JPCs and carrying 308s.

Not sure if that's your question or you're looking for a specific set-up.

You need the molle flap instead of the integrated flap + mag pouches.  Put that on there and run whatever 308 mag pouches you want.

Yes I was looking for a specific setup. I know I could buy 3 tacos and slap on the front of it, just wondering what other people are running.

Do you have the gen 1 or the 2.0? If the 2.0 you want this AVS Detachable Flap 7.62

My .02 & what I have on my PC are Tactical Tailor Fight Light Universal mag pouches. You can just pull the bungie & use them as singles & then plus up if needed. Its universal, gives you options & is a thousand times less a pain in the balls than trying to mount tacos to anything

Cut the internal dividers in the flap designed for 5.56 mags, the pocket will then be able to use 7.62x51/x39 types as well.

I'll give those a look.

This isn't a permanent change, I will still use it mainly for 5.56.

Even with the dividers cuts the flap will still retain 5.56 type mags very well.

I have the Tyr Tactical 7.62 pouch for the MOLLE flap on my Crye AVS. They fit my SCAR-H mags like a glove (it looks like they should fit SR-25 and Magpul mags, too).

As much as I love LBT, I was rather disappointed with my LBT 7.62 single mag pouches (inconsistent size across the three that I had), which cost almost double what the Tyr are going for, and the build quality of the Tyr is fantastic (the pull tabs are very sturdy, but I still swapped them for some S&S Precision pull tabs I had sitting around).

Of course, this assumes you want open-top mag pouches.

That's more like it, just what I was looking for. Thanks for the heads up.
