This may be a common problem but I couldnt find a sticky on it. The little "tab" on the charging handle side of the SD grip was not put on straight and thus catches the bottom of the charging handle when you release it. It obviously wears on the handguard and the charging handle. I called customer service at ATI and got less than a stellar response. Basically I was told that the little tab is just a piece of aluminum thats glued on the plastic handguard and that I should just take a screw driver and break it off and reglue it on straight so it works right. Great....thanks! I dont want to file it down as it will look like crap and honestly I shouldnt have to jack with the gun, especially since its new. I was waiting for the proper customer service response of "hey, sorry you having problems but please send us the part and will replace it it with a non-defective part" and not the "sorry, break it and reglue it yourself" response. any ideas?
