Hello, I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for chronographs? I was looking at the various models from Shooting-Chrono to the CED models. The issue is that the only ranges I have access to are indoors, and it seems one needs to buy a special light system to make it work, which often costs about half the chronographs' retail cost |

You need a special light if your indoor shooting range uses standard florescent lighting. That's because florescent tubes flicker at 120 times a second, which interferes with the chrony's light sensors. (some newer fluorescents are high frequency, but the problem is still there in principle)
As for which chrony to get, but whatever Midway has on sale this month. |
