Saw this commercial on TV today, I can't ever remember seeing a firearm commercial on TV (other than thrown in on a hunting channel). I figured out after about 20-25 seconds that the rifle was staying there.

I have a henry arms .22 that all comes apart and packs in the plastic stock, it was like 99 bucks, fun little rifle...

I hope to be adding a Golden Boy in .22 to the collection soon.

I have a Henry "Youth Lever" with cheap scope that holds 17 .22 shorts in the mag - great backyard target, or pest control gun.

I'm considering upgrading the buttstock to that popular new collapsible M4-style that's all the rage.

Well the commercials sure work....

heard my wife talking in her sleep and asked her what she needed....

she said she wanted me to hand her "her Henry Repeating Rifle ...."

.....so she could shoot the people coming over the fence.......

We don't have a Henry Repeating Rifle.

Was that on network TV?? I love it.

I have the Henry .22 with the large loop lever. H001L I think.  I also threaded it for my suppressor.  Amazingly accurate for as inexpensive as it was.

I really like my Henry Frontier!  Every component is from the USA.  Heck the stock is made from Missouri grown walnut!

I have an AR-7 survival rifle (Charter Arms I think), pretty much the same thing, takes a bit to get used to the sights, but a lot of fun to shoot small game with.

Henry Big Loop Lever FTW

PS: How did you thread it for a can? The tube is flush with the barrel.

Hell if my wife ever started talking like that in her sleep, I'd make damn sure there was one next to her nightstand by the time she woke up.

She's not a big gun fan.

I bought a Henry mini bolt for my grandson's first gun, he loves it and it beats the cricket hands down.

I liked it so well that I grabbed a used Golden Boy that was for sale on a local board.

I liked it so well that there is a new Henry Youth model in my closet just waiting for my grandson to get old enough, and responsible enough, for it.

I'm hoping to see one of the new Henry 45-70's in person soon.

How so?  Would you say it's comparable to the Chipmunk, or even better than that?

I cut the receiver end of the magazine tube and the muzzle end of the disassembled magazine follower a bit shorter with a brake line cutting tool.  I then re attached the pinned/knurled end of the magazine follower.  Pretty easy really but I lost 1 round of magazine capacity.  The barrel and magazine tube are held in place by a total of 3 taper pins if I recall correctly.  Tap out pins, barrel and mag tube come out.  The hardest part of the job was drilling/threading a new hole for the front sight screw.

Stainless steel with a synthetic stock for starters.  Fiber optic sights that are very easy for a young shooter to learn.  And it's a solid substantial little rifle that is still tiny and the perfect size for a young kid to learn to shoot with.  The only other youth rifle I considered was the Marlin youth model bolt action single shot. But it's a larger gun, and probably too big for my grandson.

I got one of the lever action 22s for my son for Christmas.  It seems like a great little rifle.

So today I went by Dick's Sporting goods and asked if they had any in stock.  They had none on the shelf but one in the back.  I've added it to the collection.

In that situation I would say yes...but she is already heavily armed.

What kind of rifle is that on top? A Bolt Action tube feed?

I have a Henry .22lr, the blued version.  I like the looks of the Golden Boy, but I couldn't get a good cheek weld with it.  I felt like I had to life my cheek off the stock to get a sight picture.

I see a .45 Colt Henry in my safe in the near future.

A little birdie told me that Savage bought Henry today.

I wish but no. Its just a plain old marlin 60 with a fiber stock and 50mm scope. I use it as my squirrle gun and a trainer for my beginner friends.
