This may the wrong place to ask this, but does anybody have any experience and/or opinion the Hesse Har-25. I am looking at possibly buying one and would like some input to help with the final decision.

How does Hesse Arms get away with selling these guns for so much money if they are that bad. Retail on this gun is in excess of $1200.00. It really surprises me that it still is as bad as the cheaper guns with Hesse recievers. Are we talking about the same gun?

Eagle Arms (Div of Armalite) puts out an AR10 that retails for around $1000.

Why gamble with a Hesse?

I thought the AR-10 could only take 10 round magazines. Is this true?

i would buy one for $200..maybe. save up and buy something decent. if you buy the Hesse you will probably have some problems with it and when you sell it you definately won't get anything for it unless you know some really stupid people. run on sentence. oh well.

The AR-10 will take modified pre ban 20 round M-14 mags. Armalite sells conversion kits and converted mags on their web site. HTH

So the Hesse is out. Where is the best place to buy the Eagle Arms and why is it so much less that the other Armalite Rifles?

I did go to the Armalite page, what do you think of the .243 AR-10?
