I purchased a JC Higgins Model 20 today as a beater shotgun and I later found out that the gun was made under several other names including the more popular High Standard 200. What I'm wondering is, I have a Mossberg 500 parts set with a pistol grip forward grip (the thing under the barrel) and barrel that I'd like on my shotgun. I know lots of aftermarket parts are interchangeable on some shotguns so I was just wondering if there was a chance the parts would work in my high standard 200. Also, how many cartridges does the tube hold? |

"a chance the parts would work in my high standard 200"??? None. The High Standard was a totally different gun with NO parts interchange with any other brand. The Model 200 holds 5 shells in the magazine UNLESS the magazine plug is installed, in which case it holds 2. Here's a link to a High Standard 200 owner's manual. stevespages.com/pdf/histandard_k200.pdf |
