Being a cheap bastard I didn't want to shell out the money for RCBSs stand.  Especially since it wasn't exactly what I wanted or had in mind.

So I built this.

Just a 6" 1/2" black iron pipe, flange, pipe and conduit nut, screws and threaded inserts and the RCBS bar that came with the Supreme kit.

Worked fine, but the bar had more flex in it then I wanted.

On the last weekend of September I went to the state High Power match and one of the guys I was traveling with had made a bar for someone and I asked if he could make me one with 1/2" pipe threads on one end.

Ask and you shall receive.

Much stiffer, should help my accuracy on my powder throws.

The nice thing about this setup is I can move the measure out of the way or remove it.

Thanks for the write up. Too bad I just bought the stand at the fun show last weekend. Used though, and I got a good deal.

I like the fact that it swings out of the way for storage.

I bolted mine to my shelf.

Added a LNL bushing set for easy on / off for dumping PM.

I had one of my employees weld me up a sheet metal stand.

Works like a champ.
