The tool is the $90+/- electric tool with the three rotary heads.

Inlaid into the frame of the tool is 4 nuts(2 on each side) that slide in a track. It appears that the nuts are intended for use to mount the tool to something from the topside, BUT WHAT??

btt for day crew.

I have seen a few pics where you can use the nuts to store the attachments, but it just seems like more than a coincidence that there are 2 on each side.

Yes, thats what the 4 nuts are for. They have the same threading as the three on the trios head.

As to what would you put there: Any thing you want which has an 8/32 thread. Most attachments for rifle rods like the brushes that I use to pre-clean the necks with before tumbling. The accessories you can get like deburing, chamfering, pocket cleaner. Many of the Lyman case prep tools. A Hornady pocket reamer and so on. I don't bother with the nuts as I have/use many more than 4 so I have a drawer in my reloading chest devoted to it.

What he said. I palm the Hornady trio prep just to keep it still and anything mounted in those nuts just gets in my way. I have little screws screwed into the nuts just to keep them from rattling.
