I am reaching that point in my life that I am retiring.
I am having a 56 foot three bedroom houseboat modified to a two BR with a secure gunroom for my 24 items and reloading, toys, and miscellaneous.
The boat will cruise and dock from Oklahoma to the tip of the West Coast of Florida and also the East Coast of Mexico to a spot about 60 miles South of Cancun.
My question is, What do I need to do to stay legal and what will be illegal so I can avoid any problems?

You need to specify what C3 items you own for a full answer...

A side note, but I understand that gas is difficult to find on the Mississippi, you might want to consider diesel which is available.

If you are going anywhere near Mexico DON'T DO IT. One round of ammo can land you in a Mexican prison.

M16A2s, Uzis in 22, 9mm, and45, M14s, 10/22s with Norrell triggerpacks, Mac10s in 45 and suppressors for all. At least two of each firearm since they are in a trust for my two children.
Engines are twin Cummins diesels. Only an independently wealthy idiot runs a gas engine in a large boat.

Go no where into Mexican waters, contact the ATF about the legalities of leaving US waters with NFA weapons and then re-importing said NFA weapons back into the U.S.

Iffin it was me I would find a storage location near my favorite shooting range.
