It's a complete MAV.  Just picked it up used.  There's a stain on one of the pouches, and it's very dusty from use.  Other than that, it looks great!

What's the best way to clean it up?  Remove the pouches and toss them in the washing machine?  Dry clean?  Just hose it down and hand wash?

IIRC ur not suppose to put that nylon stuff through a washer. damp cloth and elbow grease is what i recommend.

i scrape dirt and paint off my stuff with my knife when im bored.

just for anyone that's also curious.  Here's TT's official response.

"I wouldn’t put it in the washing machine. A brush and water, if you need more than plain water a very mild soap and rinse thoroughly.

If you have to put it in the washer…Cold water, gentle cycle, line dry out of the sun."

Get naked, grab a stiff bristle brush, turn on the shower, get in the tub with your gear (not on) and plug the drain, slosh gear around in water while acting like you are in a submarine that has been hit by a depth charge, scrub the hell out of your "tactical gear" with the brush, rinse under shower head, drain water from tub, fill up again, scrub, slosh, make a lot of aaaaarrrrrooooooogggggaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh sounds.

When you get out you can put the gear on a sturdy hanger and let it drip dry.

Most fun you'll have by yourself in the tub, I G-damn guarantee you!

we used to put most of our ta50 in the washing machines, lbvs/rucks.  stuff with alot of plastic/strings stick in a laundry bag.  soft rubber in the dryer will shrink/melt, etool carrier (by accident).
