Hey Guys,

I know this has been tossed around more than a few times here...but how long of a wait once my $200 check has been cashed? Thanks.

For what?  Pending date? Approval?

Filed as individual? As entity?

ETA: best real time info you'll get is NFA Tracker or the ATF Wait Times page from SilencerShop.

It'll be a christmas present if your check was cashed yesterday

This is a question for the "General Class 3" forum.  Actually there's already a thread there on this topic, and it was last replied to this morning.

More like February to March if you use NFA Tracker as a guide

Man I hope but something tells me that's a couple of months too early. I mailed my forms on the Friday before Memorial Day, and the check was cashed the following Tuesday. I'd LOVE to get my stamp back by Christmas since that's in the middle of deer season but I'm not going to count on it.

Approvals these days had their checks chased about 10 months ago.  This is for Form 1 and Form 4 paper submissions and is an average.  The numbers have been gradually improving and I do not think Christmas time as a guess would be out of the realm of expectations.

I absolutely agree..."if" the reduction in time between the Check Cashed and Pending date is a true reduction, and not just a shift of ~2 months from before Pending to after Pending.

I'm sitting at 251 days and it's still not approved.  Maybe in a month or so for me.

For clarification, these January approvals are all efile, right?

Virtually all of them were efiles, based on NFATracker.  I downloaded the XLS and did some analysis, but their graph is pretty good.  Do you know who your examiner is?  That will help as mine is kinda slow compared to the rest.  I took all 80 approvals from my evaluator in the last 15 months and graphed them.  Over the last two months, he has averaged about 250 days check cashed to stamp received.  I've got forms from Late Nov and Early Dec.  That means, roughly, August for me.  I'm not holding my breath, but this is the best I've got.
