I returned a suppressor for warranty work to the manufacturer a few weeks ago and haven't heard back yet. Is there a customary length of time to wait before I should call and inquire as to the status?

Depends on who they are and how long of a wait they have. But feel free to contact them to find the status, there is no problem with that.
