I know this is such a relative question.  I shoot it about every 3 months 40 rounds.  I do not compete or want to.  I have 500 rounds plus on hand.  With todays left politics, how much do you feel is enough? Should I buy more?

Gunshows here suck when looking for 50.  Last one, the only guy that had any wanted $3 a round for Talon.  And no discount for the whole box...

Since the .50 is near the top of the lib's "to do" list, I would put a couple thousand rounds in long term storage. Ammo like the Talon stuff is made from recovered G.I. components. If the Gov't decides that demilled ammo components such as bullets, brass, and powder must be destroyed, there goes that source of remanufactured ammo, and reloading components.
There aren't too many outfits that make .50 ammo from scratch.

I don't have a .50...yet. I will be getting an M99 soon though.
I woudl say there's no such thing as too much amo. No matter how often you shoot, no matter what calibers you own. You cannot have too much ammo. There's no such thing.

I have less than 100 right now but I would feel much better with 200-400 handy.
For other firearms I like to have 800-1000 on hand but damn, a .50? I am sure I won't be going to the range and popping off 300 in  single day.

I have around 500-600 on hand at all times which is never enough.

Big + 1.  Buy as much as you can afford, whether its ammo or components, because when a shortage occurs, regardless of the reason, you'll be set. If you don't buy now, you'll cry later.

Big +1 to this.  While I'm waiting on my ALS, I'll be stockpiling .50 loaded and components, because the wind coming out of Washington is definately blowing to the left.  Rule of thumb...when libtards are in power, look at what Kalifornia's been up to lately to see where the winds of change will take you.

I got fed up with only having 50Cal. cans available to hold it, could use that storage for other things.

So I moved to MK19 40mm cans which hold 312 rounds each.

2 full MK19 cans and an ordinary tiny little 50 as of now, got 2 more MK19 cans I can fill once I get more primers.

Due to prices increasing the more the better. And new with my son shooting even more is better.
