For STG/AUG compatible mags for 6.8SPC when the conversions come out?
I'm sure that there are others who don't want to buy an E4 or NATO stock.
I would probably go as high as $75 each. What about you?

It isn't worth it to me.  I'd go maybe $30 for a mag, maybe $35, and that's really pushing it.  $75?  No freaking way.

I was thinking of how much another stock and Barrett or C-Products mags cost. To buy an AUG NATO stock (I don't like the E4 stock) for the STG would require a Steyr hammer pack and buttplate. Even at $75 a piece, I could buy five mags for that money and not have to swap so many parts. Now, if MSAR was willing to do it cheaper, then all the better!

if it meant that i could use the conversion with my gen 3 limited without changing the stock, i'd be willing to buy one at 75 to use for hunting... maybe two, but honestly, i think anything over 50 would be unjustified

I think $50 would be the area most would pay for that. $75 is a bit steep and would keep me from buying more than 1 mag at this time.

You wouldn't be the first person to call me crazy...

6.8 in a STG mag I remember the teaser picture on the MSAR website. 6.8 STG mag,
bolt and barrel. Lost interest when it went to E4 type for conversion. Oh yea I'd be in on that.

Has anyone tried putting 6.8 ammo into a STG mag?  The mag bodies between the STG and AR mags are different, and since the 6.8 AR mag has a slightly different design, maybe a follower swap would work?

I currently pay $45 for Barrett 30 rounders for my 6.8 SPC AR and think they make the best of the 6.8 mags.  PRI comes in second in my opinion and they cost $40 for 25 rounders.  I don't think the market would bare any more then $45 for MSAR 6.8 mags.  I would jump on a 6.8 conversion and since I have an E4 I could use my Barrett's and Cproduct's mags all day long.
