How do you think the best way to clean these would be. They are pulled 55 grain .224" from isreali ammo. They have sealant and some corrosion on them. Would like them bright like new. Dry tumble or wet tumble, or something else? I have about 500 of them in perfect shape with no pull marks. |
| Cleaned up the bullets. Couldn't get them 100% but good enough. Not sure what some of the corrosion is but its on there. Acetone cleaned up the sealant easy enough. Then tumbled in walnut and polish for hours then soaked them in lemishine... Cleaned about half pretty good and all the big crude but wouldn't touch the bad patina. Through them all in the wet tumbler with lemishine for about 2 hours and got about 90% bright. Good enough to blast. Thanks for the tips. Will put a picture up later. |
