| How does it wear? Does anyone have an example of a hard use hydrodipped rifle? Just curious to how it holds up compaired to something like Duracoat. Thanks in advance. |
| hydro dip when done properly is about as tough as a cars finish. problem is who does it for you and type base and clear coat they use.some companies cheap out and use crappy paint and clears that even hoppes gun cleaner will take the finish off. duracoat is overall a tougher finish.if you want to go the cheap route you can even just de-grease a blued gun and spray duracoat clear over it for weather protection. |
