Does anyone have experience with dipping their guns either professionaly or DYI? This has my interest up and I'm thinking about getting a kit and doing a couple guns. Any thoughts?

I'm having some dipped by an amateur this week.

I'm terrified.

But it was cheap.

There is more to it then it looks.  Im just very OCD and it still is not done.  I have stripped the lower 4 times and am going to be doing the lower and another upper together.

Thanks, I think I will order a kit and try it out.

The DIY kits are great to try out dipping.  The difference between getting it professionally done and doing it yourself is you get high quality paints and clears and perhaps a better end product. But if you enjoy doing things yourself I say go for it. It can be real fun.
