| I'd like to see some IFAK setups please. What it is and where you got it would be nice. |

I just use a cheap pouch and a IFAK refill kit from Chinook Medical (I think I stuffed the IFAK refill into one of their pouches that comes with the Care Under Fire Kit.)
I added a pair of shears that I stick behind the pouch and a sharpie.. Sometime in the future, I plan on getting a nicer pouch.
Here is a great thread about med pouches http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_10/247358_.html |

Yeah I like that. I'd need to find a place for one or two SOF-T/wide, a Benchmade rescue hook and a mil QuikClot. |

Are you looking for a IFAK, to be used by some else when you go down, or a BOK, to be used on you or someone esle when that bad thing happens? I really don't care what acronym its called; the material inside will be used on whomever is wounded. I'm looking for a kit that can contain 2 SOF-T/wides, QuikClot bandage, at least one compression bandage, and a Benchmade rescue hook. These will be issued to the range staff at my department. We will also be purchasing a larger kits to contain more of the same plus booboo stuff. |

I've got an OSOE Tear-Off. It's got enough space for a pressure bandage of your favorite flavor, chest seal, z-pack gauze, quick clot, gloves, NPA, gloves, and cath. 2 TQ's rubber banded to the outside. Works well for what I need it to do.
If I did it again I think I'd go with another pouch. The OSOE is easy to overstuff. The CTOMS are sexy as hell but pricey. I've been looking at the Dark Angel kit as of late. Our very own eggroll makes the pouches. They're pretty slick. |
| I have a Tactical Tailor Medical Pouch on my belt. In it, I have: CAT Tourniquet, NPA 28 Fr. with lube, PMI Halo Chest Seal, Shears, 2 rolls of gauze, 6" Israeli bandage, some alcohol pads, small bandages, and a small bottle of sunscreen. I'm going to add another tourniquet, decompression needle, and an Israeli bandage. I also have a nicely stocked aid bag to back this up, so I don't need to shove a bunch of stuff into the IFAK. ETA: Forgot to add that I have two pairs of gloves in the pouch. Those and the small items are kept in a Zip-loc. There's a roll of tape on the length of paracord underneath the outer flap, too. |
